US President Donald Trump once again joked that he would not rule out seeking a third term in the White House.
Speaking at the White House Correspondents' reception, Trump said, “Just like with my presidency, the second time is always better. It’s always better. And the third time will be much better,” before adding, “I’m only kidding.”
Trump had previously suggested he intended to run in the 2028 US presidential election, even wearing a red cap emblazoned with “Trump 2028,” drawing laughter from the audience. He later clarified once again that he was not being serious.
